Yes, you are so proud of your body for carrying a healthy, gorgeous, miraculous baby for more than 9 months and experiencing that most insane, incredible, huge thing that is birth. Yes, mama, you did it. You are a queen.
The first seconds, days, weeks are crazy. But once your new normal takes shape, and few months postpartum is making you rapidly miss your pre-pregnancy body? It is completely okay. I need to remind myself… it is completely okay. That weight you gained resulted in a baby and so much more.
And now,.you just want to get rid of that so much more.
I did not like the energy I lacked this fout past months, and I know it will be a long road to feeling like myself, or my new self… but being back at the gym with a community that is so supportive and workouts I love makes me so happy.
I will be a fit mom. For Liv, for my family, for me.
